Cleartex focuses on the development of electronics for industrial applications. Thanks to close partnership with the PCBA manufacturer Hokami, we are able to optimize our designs for high-volume manufacturing efficiency and overall product reliability. With long-term experience in the textile industry and close collaboration within our multidisciplinary team – from hardware, software, and PCB engineers to Unix-based IoT developers, optical designers, and textile technology experts – we have the expertise to bring complex technological solutions to life.

We welcome collaboration on custom development projects, from your requirements to mass production.

Below are some examples of finished products.

Yarn clearer

The original driving force behind Cleartex was the development of advanced optical sensors for textile spinning machines, aiming to bring near-laboratory measurement performance into high speed industrial application.

An innovative combination of light sources, custom image sensor and optics enables high-precision measurement of textile yarn diameter deviations and detection of foreign matter, even with significant fibre and dust accumulation in the measuring slot.

After years of development, the optical sensor concept was finalized and underwent extensive testing and validation to ensure reliability, accuracy, and durability under challenging manufacturing conditions at the customer’s site.

Yarn image captured using Q30 sensor

For high-volume production, it was necessary to design and manufacture a complete set of dedicated manufacturing, calibration, and test fixtures. These single-purpose tools were integrated into a production line at our partner company Hokami to enable the manufacturing of tens of thousands of sensors while ensuring the outstanding accuracy and reliability.

A strategic partnership with Rieter was signed in 2018 for sensor deliveries. Today, the Q30 sensor is installed on rotor and air-jet spinning machines worldwide, providing precise and stable measurement of textile yarn directly during its production.

SP1 triangulation sensor

The SP1 laser point triangulation sensor demonstrates how our existing triangulation technology can be successfully applied in automated textile machinery. Integrated into winder machine components, it ensures precise positioning above each winding position.

Custom Panel PC

Through a close partnership with Rieter on yarn clearers, the need for a custom Panel PC mounted on textile machinery arose.

We developed a custom, power-efficient, and cost-effective 10″ Panel PC specifically for Rieter machinery.

This experience led to the development of our own Panel PC series – Cleartex Vision, presented in a dedicated section.
